MEELASMALL RETURNS AND REFUNDS POLICY

At Meelasmall, we want you to have a positive experience every time you shop with us. Occasionally though, we know you may want to return items you have purchased. This Returns Refunds Policy sets out our conditions for accepting returns and issuing refunds for items purchased from Meelasmall and also outline situations when we are unable to accept returns or issue refunds.

Return period and conditions for acceptance of returns

Subject to the rules set out in this Returns; we accept returns within 24 hours post delivery within Lagos and 3 days outskirts. We do not accept returns, for any reason whatsoever, after the returns period has lapsed. We shall only accept returns of items that are unopened, unused and in the same condition you received them, with their original packaging and seal intact where applicable

  • To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase / Order number

  • You shall only be entitled to return and refund in respect of these items if you received the wrong item; a damaged or defective item; or inauthentic item.

  • Refund Method: Refunds will be issued to the same account number used for the original purchase. Please allow 72 hours for the refund to be processed after the retrieval of your order.

Items that cannot be returned

  • We do not accept returns of certain product categories for health and hygiene reasons Customer safety is important to us, so certain product categories cannot be returned due to health and hygiene reasons, or if they may deteriorate or expire rapidly.
  • We do not accept used/opened/damages by customer product
  • You are not entitled to a refund or return  if you have changed your mind.
  • Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
  • Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:

  • If the original packaging, tags, or labels are missing or damaged, or we sense a foul play, we reserve the right to reject the return or issue a partial refund.

Return Process:

  • Contact Customer Support: To initiate a return, please contact our customer support team through our social media channels or WhatsApp chat – Provide your order details, reason for return, and any supporting evidence like photos/ videos if applicable.

  • Return Authorization: Our team will review your request and provide you with feedback if your return meets the criteria.

  • Packaging and Shipping: Securely package the item and ship the item to the provided address. Buyers are responsible for return shipping fee except the return is due to an error on our part. Include all / any gift item received. Do not include any items unrelated to the returned item in the packaging.

No exchange

We don’t offer exchanges. If you would like a different product, cancel before orders are shipped out. Please ensure to read up descriptions of  products before making payment as there will be no exchange or refund as soon as have received your order(s).

Rejected return and refund requests and forfeiture

All items are inspected on return to verify the reasons provided. If your return request is not approved by, you shall not receive any refund of the purchase price or the delivery fees. We will immediately notify you that we will hold the item for  30 days from the date of the initial notification. Our notification will include details about pick up location and opening hours. If you do not collect the item within the required period, you shall forfeit the item i.e. the item shall become Meelasmall property and Meelasmall may dispose of it in any manner that it determines appropriate e.g. by sale, charitable donation, recycling or destruction.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 72 hours.
